AI’s rapid rise: Should humanity be concerned?

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)-A shocking warning from a former Anthropic researcher is ramping up calls to slow down the development of Artificial Intelligence.

That researcher, along with several employees at AI labs, are concerned that the technology could become dangerous.

This comes as cybersecurity evaluations have reportedly gathered evidence that, without proper safeguards, some AI agents have demonstrated the ability to operate without direct human instruction.
