09/03 Ryan’s “Getting Wetter” Thursday Forecast
Don't expect major changes today, but it is starting to get wetter ahead of a grey, stormy weekend ahead.
Expect wetter weather ahead as a plume of moisture moves in from the Gulf and lingers for the next few days. It won’t lead to too much more today, but we’ll see at least a few more showers and thunderstorms than we saw yesterday. That’ll get rain chances up to 40%, and we’ll still be right on the lower edge of Heat Advisory territory with a high near 92° with light southerly winds. It’ll cool a bit as we head into the weekend thanks to the more consistent cloud cover and more widespread showers as rain chances climb to 60% for Friday and Saturday. By the start of next week they’ll start to trend downwards, but still expect at least 40% chances until next Tuesday, slightly above “normal.”
