Wetter weather is on the way this week thanks to a nearby front and our typical daytime heating pattern. That’s due to an approaching front, deepening available moisture and adding a more solid “jumping off point” for any showers and thunderstorms in the heat of the day. That brings our rain chances up to 60% for today, raining a good bit of the afternoon and into the evening. A “Slight” (level 2 of 5) risk for severe weather remains, with windy, flashy storms our biggest threat as the tornado risk remains very low. All this rain and cloud cover will keep us out of Heat Advisory territory for the next few days, but it’ll still be hot and humid so take care out there.
