Police Investigate Call of Shots Fired in Gulfport

Authorities are investigating a possible shooting in the West Gulfport area.  Police received a call Thursday night around 9:30 of shots fired in the neighborhood somewhere near 45th Avenue.

When police arrived, they did not find anything out of the ordinary, but later learned a male was being treated at a local hospital for non life-threatening injuries.

Right now there are no confirmed suspects and police are continuing to investigate the incident.
