Planned Parenthood Sues Mississippi

Planned Parenthood is suing Mississippi over a new state law that bans Medicaid from spending money with any abortion provider. The suit was filed Wednesday in a Jackson Federal Courtroom. It says the Hattiesburg clinic does not offer abortions so should not be included in the ban. Records show that from July 2013 to August 2015 Mississippi Medicaid spent just $439 dollars with Planned Parenthood. The state could easily spend more than that to defend itself in this lawsuit.
