Stone County students celebrate first day at brand-new Stone High School

STONE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Monday marked a major milestone for Stone County students as they walked through the doors of the brand-new Stone High School for the very first time.

After months of anticipation, students and staff are now settling into their campus.

WXXV News 25’s Everett Ganier Jr. takes us inside the first day.

It was a morning filled with excitement, smiles, and plenty of first impressions as students arrived for the very first day of classes at the new Stone High School campus.

From brand new classrooms to updated technology and spacious learning areas, the new campus is designed to give students and teachers more room to learn, grow, and succeed.

Throughout the morning, teachers and administrators helped guide students to their classrooms and worked to make the first day of school as seamless as possible.

School leaders say they hope the new facility will serve Stone County students for generations to come.
