Governor Reeves announces $15 Million for Fifth Mississippi Outdoor Stewardship Trust Fund Grant Cycle

Governor Tate Reeves announced another round of funding to support conservation and outdoor recreation projects across Mississippi.

Reeves says $15 million has been approved for the fifth grant cycle of the Mississippi Outdoor Stewardship Trust Fund.

Applications open August 3rd with funding available to state agencies, counties, cities, and eligible nonprofit organizations.

Since the program began in 2022, more than $50 million has been awarded to support 100 conservation and outdoor recreation projects statewide, helping preserve natural resources and promote economic growth.
