Home of Grace dedicates prayer garden and bell to honor longtime supporter Dub Herring

The Home of Grace is honoring the legacy of one of its longest serving supporters.

Friday, the faith-based addiction recovery program dedicated its courtyard bell and prayer garden in memory of businessman and philanthropist Dub Herring.

The dedication brought together Herring’s wife, children, and longtime supporters of the Home of Grace to celebrate his decades of generosity.

Herring began supporting the ministry shortly after it opened in 1965, helping fund scholarships for hundreds of men and women seeking recovery from addiction over the next six decades.

Dub Herring passed away in October of last year, but Home of Grace leaders say his legacy will continue to impact lives for generations to come.
