Jackson County Fire Protection crews work fire caused by suspected lightning strike
St. Martin, Miss. (WXXV)- The Jackson County Fire Protection team responded to a structure fire on Tennyson Drive in St. Martin Tuesday night.
Firefighters found a small fire in a utility room. That fire was extinguished by isolating the gas service to the meter.
No one was home at the time and the cause was determined to be from a lighting strike during Tuesday night’s weather.
No injuries were reported and the call was received around 9 PM.
