Pascagoula PD remembers Fallen K9 Officer Exo
PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)- The Pascagoula Police Department is remembering one of their K9 officers.
K9 Officer Exo was killed in the line of duty on June 23, 2022.
Exo was tracking a suspect when the suspect shot at officers and hit Exo. Exo was rushed to the emergency vet. He died from his wounds.
The department says Exo might be gone, but he will never be forgotten.
They say they will continue to celebrate his memory, service, and sacrifice.
The police department says Exo remains forever in their hearts, adding they do not cry on the anniversary of his death, but celebrate what an amazing officer, friend, and hero he was.
