Dam in Swan Lake area of Harrison County sustains damage
HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- A Harrison County dam in the Swan Lake area sustained structural damage due to extreme amounts of rain, according to the Harrison County Board of Supervisors.
Kathy Kissinger shared the video and photo of the area with us. You can see all that water rapidly rushing out of the lake.
At this time, county leaders are asking residents to shelter in place and no evacuation order has been issued.
The Harrison County Road Department is on scene and state agencies have offered assistance.
