D’Iberville Track & Field Duo Signs with Fort Scott Community College
The future is bright for two of D’Iberville’s most accomplished track and field athletes.
D’Iberville High School would like to congratulate seniors Grey Boyden and Angel Pellot on signing to continue their academic and athletic careers at Fort Scott Community College in Kansas.
Both athletes leave behind a remarkable legacy as record holders in the Warrior track and field program.
Boyden has etched his name throughout the D’Iberville record books, holding school records in the indoor and outdoor triple jump, high jump, and indoor long jump. He capped off an outstanding senior season by winning the MHSAA State Championship in the triple jump and earning recognition as an Under Armour All-American.
Pellot also enjoyed a historic career for the Warriors. He holds school records in the indoor 200-meter dash and 400-meter dash, while helping lead the 4×200-meter relay team to All-American honors as the anchor leg. He is also part of the record-setting outdoor 4×400-meter relay team, further cementing his place among the program’s all-time greats.
The accomplishments of both student-athletes have helped elevate D’Iberville track and field to new heights, and their dedication, leadership, and success will leave a lasting impact on the program.
As Boyden and Pellot take the next step in their athletic journeys, the entire Warrior family wishes them continued success at Fort Scott Community College and beyond. They both spoke to WXXV on what this milestone means to them and why they chose Fort Scott. Congratulations, Grey and Angel!
