Safety tips for driving in inclement weather

Drivers are reminded to slow down and keep their distance between cars.

It’s also important to turn around when a flooded road is spotted.

Another important tip, avoid using your high beams in the rain.

Hydroplaning can happen on slick roads, make sure to stay calm and ease off the gas slowly if you find yourself hydroplaning.

Brake gently as well and allow extra stopping distance, plan ahead by checking the weather, allowing for extra travel time and carry an emergency kit.
