Fire crews battle house fire in Pearl River County
PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The North Pearl River County Fire and Rescue is sharing a report about a house fire.
The fire happened Monday afternoon. A home was reported to have smoke coming from the roof.
When crews arrived, they immediately started fire suppression and worked to bring the fire under control.
The fire and rescue team is sending thanks to the Poplarville Fire Department, Wiggins Fire Department, Stone County Fire Rescue, and numerous volunteer departments for their help.
The fire is currently under investigation by the county’s fire marshal’s office.
