Moss Point fire crews take part in training

MOSS POINT, Miss. (WXXV)- The Moss Point Fire Department is sharing that b-shift trained on knot tying and proper tool hoisting techniques.

The fire department says these skills are essential for safely transferring tools from the ground to a roof.

Those tools can include axes, chainsaws, and Halligan bars.

The department says regularly practicing these skills improves efficiency during fireground operations.
