Two arrested in Armed Robbery
On May 26, 2026, at approximately 11:00 p.m., officers with the Ocean Springs Police Department responded to a reported armed robbery in the area of Morris Noble Park.
Officers made contact with the victim, who stated he had met a female through Snapchat and picked her up at an address on Morris Noble Road. The victim reported that after parking near the baseball fields, the female told him she was feeling sick and exited the vehicle. At that time, two individuals armed with firearms approached, pulled the victim from his vehicle at gunpoint, and robbed him of his phone and money.
The victim then went to a nearby residence and contacted 911. The female involved fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
Investigators determined that a similar incident occurred at the same location several weeks earlier. Although that victim was uncooperative, investigators were able to obtain the same Snapchat information, including a photo of the female suspect.
Through the investigation, officers identified the female as 18-year-old Jasmyne Hodges of Ocean Springs. A warrant was obtained for her arrest. Investigators also identified a 16-year-old juvenile male from Ocean Springs as one of the robbery suspects. The juvenile has been arrested and charged as an adult.
Both Hodges and the juvenile have been charged with Armed Robbery, and their bonds have been set at $250,000.
This investigation remains ongoing, and additional arrests are possible.
