Acadian Ambulance Celebrates National EMS Week

GULFPORT, Miss. – Acadian Ambulance is celebrating National EMS Week by recognizing the paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers, and support teams who work around the clock to save lives and serve their communities.

EMS professionals are often the first to respond during medical emergencies, severe accidents, and natural disasters, providing critical care under intense pressure.

News 25’s Everett Ganier Jr. spoke with an Acadian representative about the dedication and sacrifice that comes with serving on the front lines of emergency response.

National EMS Week runs through May 23 and honors the lifesaving work EMS crews perform every day across the Gulf Coast and the nation.
