Blow Fly Bar and Grill in Gulfport closing its doors
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- A well-known Gulfport restaurant has once again closed its doors.
Blow Fly Bar and Grill owner Jonathan Allen took to social media Wednesday night to announce the immediate closure of the restaurant.
Allen purchased what was then called the Blow Fly Inn back in 2022 and renovated the building and dining experience.
The restaurant was founded in 1955 and has served generations of South Mississippians.
In his post, Allen thanked the Blow Fly Inn’s loyal customers and says he is supporting his staff’s efforts in finding new jobs, including cover their pay for the next two weeks.
