Moss Point Police Department sharing Memorial Day Weekend safety reminders

Memorial Day Weekend is upon us and the Moss Point Police Department wants to encourage everyone to be safe.

Chief Dennis Stevenson took to social media to remind everyone how to be safe on and off the road.

Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Make sure to obey traffic laws and wear a seatbelt.

When you’re not on the road, use caution around grills, fireworks, and waterways.

Everyone is reminded to keep a watchful eye on children and elderly family members as well.

Make sure to be respectful of neighbors and the community as a whole.
