Singing River Hospice of Light to host Butterfly Memorial Services to honor loved ones

Singing River Health System’s Hospice of Light is hosting its annual Butterfly Memorial Service later this month.

It’s a tradition that honors and celebrates the lives of loved ones who have passed.

The event gives families and friends the chance to gather, reflect, and remember those they have lost.

The ceremony features a reading of names, music, and the symbolic release of butterflies.

One service is set for May 27 at Lucedale City Park at 10 a.m.

On June 3, the health system will host a second service at the Little Children’s Park in Ocean Springs. It also begins at 10 a.m.
