Singing River Health System celebrates Project SEARCH Class of 2026 graduation

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)- Singing River Health System’s Pascagoula Hospital hosted a graduation ceremony for the Project Search class of 2026.

Four students were recognized after completing the year-long transition program designed to prepare young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for the workforce.

Interns spent the year training in several hospital departments, including environmental services, facilities, rehabilitation and Morrison’s Singing River Café.

Organizers say the program helps young adults build job skills, confidence, and independence.

All four graduates have now secured jobs, marking the first time every member of a Project Search graduating class has been hired.
