State Department of Health launches website to expand access to mental health resources
The Mississippi Department of Health has launched a new online tool to help people find behavioral health resources across the state.
The website, called Mississippi Cares, offers mental health information, screening tools, medication details, and links to local services all in one place.
State officials say the goal is to make it easier for individuals, families, and providers to navigate Mississippi’s behavioral health system.
The platform is part of the National Network of Care program and was officially introduced last month at the NAMI Mississippi Conference in Hattiesburg.
