5/6 – Sam’s Wednesday Night Forecast
Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at the week ahead
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop late tonight, with better rain chances arriving Thursday and continuing on and off through the weekend. The wettest period appears to be from Friday night through Sunday, when multiple rounds of rain and storms are expected to bring locally heavy downpours at times.
Highs will stay mostly in the upper 70s to low 80s through the stretch, but conditions improve early next week as rain chances fade Monday and sunshine returns Tuesday and Wednesday. Cooler, drier air will also move in, with overnight lows dropping into the upper 50s by Monday night.
