05/04 Ryan’s “Practically Perfect” Monday Morning Forecast
Get ready for a practically perfect day ahead thanks to sunshine and lower humidity!
Get ready for a practically perfect South Mississippi day with low humidity, ample sunshine, and light winds all combining at the same time. We haven’t seen many low humidity days recently as dewpoints averaged in the low 60s to low 70s with very few exceptions over the last several weeks. Today’s dewpoints will remain in the “comfortable” 50s, but are trending upwards and will be borderline “muggy” as soon as the middle of the week. That’s about the time the rain returns as well, but until then we’ll remain dry.
For today, expect a mild-to-warm afternoon with a high near 77 in the Gulfport/Biloxi area, with highs climbing into the low 80s further inland. That’s a few degrees cooler than our seasonal normal in the low 80s, but it will be that lower humidity that’ll be the star of the show. Tomorrow will be similar, but noticeable cloud cover starts to creep in by then.
