Man arrested for Thursday shooting in Gulfport

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- A Gulfport man is now behind bars after a Thursday afternoon shooting that left one person injured.

Thirty-four-year-old Christopher Clark is charged with one count of aggravated assault.

Police say that shooting happened just before 1:30 Thursday at Polk Street and Alabama Avenue and stemmed from an ongoing dispute between Clark and the victim.

Clark was later taken into custody by Ocean Springs police and the victim was taken to an area hospital for their injuries.
