4/23 – Sam’s Thursday night forecast

Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at the week ahead

It’s a nice, quiet night ahead with mostly clear skies and temps dropping into the upper 60s—overall really comfortable.

Friday looks pretty solid too. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 70s. It’ll feel a touch more humid, but still a great way to wrap up the workweek. Late Friday night, a few isolated showers could pop up, but most spots stay dry.

This weekend is where things get a little more active. Saturday brings scattered showers and storms, especially in the afternoon and evening. It’s not a total washout, but you’ll want to keep an eye on the radar if you’ve got outdoor plans. A few showers could linger early Saturday night.

Sunday isn’t completely dry either, but the rain chances back off. Expect partly sunny skies, warm temps in the low 80s, and just a small chance for a pop-up storm.

Next week is trending even warmer and a bit more breezy. Highs climb into the mid-80s Monday through Wednesday with a mix of sun and clouds. Rain chances stay low until midweek, when we could see a few showers sneak back in by Wednesday night into Thursday.
