04/20 Ryan’s “Cooler & Drier” Monday Morning Forecast
We're starting this week off much cooler and drier than at any point last week, but it won't last long.
It was quite cool and much drier this morning thanks to Sunday morning’s front, dropping dewpoints nearly 20 degrees from how we started off last week and 30 degrees below how we ended. That’s dry by anyone’s standards and it’ll lead to much better-feeling afternoons as the temperature returns to the upper 70s later this afternoon with an expected high near 78. That’s not all that far off from the upper 70s/low 80s we spent most of last week in, but I can’t stress enough how different it’ll feel thanks to the drier air. Unfortunately, it won’t stick around long. Lows will will climb into the mid 50s by tomorrow and into the 60s as early as Wednesday due to the weakening high pressure and return flow setup building back in. That’s all due to an approaching frontal system that’ll have us back to last week’s highs and lows by the weekend.
