04/17 Ryan’s “More Sun” Friday Morning Forecast

Thursday was our cloudiest of the week, so get ready for more sun as we head into the weekend.

Yesterday did end up the cloudiest of the week with upwards of partly sunny skies, but we’ll see much more sun for today as we finish off the week. That means things will be bright and beautiful for this afternoon, and will remain on the hot side with a high in the low 80s on the coastline. Expect inland areas to trend slightly hotter, closer to 85°, but a few upper 80s aren’t out of the question either. The best news is it’ll be slightly less humid, but not noticeably so…especially in the heat of the day. The cloud cover and higher humidity will return quickly though as we head through the weekend. A front is approaching which will start building more consistent cloud cover by Saturday afternoon, with scattered showers and thunderstorms moving in by Sunday morning into the early afternoon. At the moment there is no severe threat.
