Man arrested on multiple charges in Biloxi stabbing

Dwight Peters was arrested in Jackson County on outstanding warrants for aggravated assault, armed robbery, and contempt of court, authorities said.

The charges stem from an October 2025 incident at the Golden Nugget in Biloxi, where Peters and Cynthia Herron allegedly attempted to rob a victim. During the altercation, Peters reportedly stabbed the victim in the abdomen, causing a non-life-threatening injury.

The victim was treated at a local hospital.

Peters had been wanted by Biloxi police since the incident but was taken into custody by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department and transferred to Harrison County to face charges.
