Man charged with felony fentanyl possession in Picayune

PICAYUNE, Miss. (WXXV)- A Picayune man is behind bars for possessing a felony amount of fentanyl.

Police had initially pulled over Hendrick Leverette Monday afternoon for careless driving.

Police then searched his vehicle, where they apparently found the stash of fentanyl.

He’s now being charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, along with a charge of careless driving.
