Gulfport baseball splits series with West Harrison after 11-0 win on Friday

The West Harrison Hurricanes hosted the Gulfport Admirals for game two of the Class 7A Region Four showdown. The Admirals got a hot start scorings two runs in the top of the first with help from a James Van Slyke RBI single. Taevion Collier goes three up three down in the bottom of the first with two strikeouts. West Harrison sophomore Mason Little got the first hit for the Hurricanes in the bottom of third inning. Gulfport splits the series winning game two with a 11-0 final score. The Admirals will host the Hurricanes Saturday afternoon with an 11 first pitch to decide who wins the series.
