Third death confirmed after deadly February crash on I-10 in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV) — A third person has died following a deadly crash near Exit 50 in Jackson County earlier this year.

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, 29-year-old Raymond Boertmann passed away at a hospital in Mobile on February 20 after suffering injuries in the accident.

The crash involved a prison transport van and a utility truck. Authorities say two others were killed at the scene, including 32-year-old Michael Valera, who was driving the prison van, and 34-year-old William Rodman.
