03/19 Ryan’s “Last Day of Winter” Thursday Forecast
It was appropriately cold this morning on the last day of winter, but we're warming up as spring begins.
It was still cold-to-chilly this morning as we began the last day of winter, but our slow and steady warming trend is about to pick up a bit. It’s just a coincidence it’s happening along with spring starting tomorrow, but expect each morning and afternoon to be noticeably warmer than the last into the start of next week. Even then it looks like we’ll only take a slight step back after climbing into the low-to-mid 80s, with mostly sunny skies each day…a perfect start to the season.
This afternoon will climb out of the 60s and into the low-to-mid 70s across the area for today’s high, with a noticeable jump in our overnight low as we jump from the 30s and 40s and into the low 50s. Even that will only hold for a day or so, after that we’ll begin next week with highs near 80 and lows in the low 60s…on par with yesterday afternoon’s temperatures.
