03/17 Ryan’s “Starting to Warm” Tuesday Evening Forecast

We started off the week stormy and cold, but things are starting to warm up nicely.

This week started off stormy, then cold, and now were starting to warm nicely as we finish off the last week of winter. It certainly felt like winter this morning with Freeze Watches/Warnings across the area and a low near 32° in Gulfport. This afternoon warmed slightly on yesterday, only by a couple of degrees though into the mid 50s. Tomorrow morning will continue the warming trend into the upper 30s/low 40s, a noticeable increase but still much cooler than “normal.” From that point forward though we’ll jump through the 60s and to nearly 80 by the end of the week, officially ushering in spring on Friday. Mornings by that time will have climbed beyond our 52 degree normal into the 60s, and both the highs and lows keep going up until the start of next week.
