George County Lady Rebels defeat St. Martin Yellowjackets 14-7!

Twenty-two mile per hour winds didn’t scare the people of Lucedale as the George County Lady Rebels host the St. Martin Yellowjackets on a chilly Monday night. Kiyara Lee and Mia Boney start the Yellowjackets’ run with back to back singles and a passed ball scores Lee for the first run of the night. Two pop ups and a Peyton Collins strikeout would keep them at one.

Aryana Dixon leads off with an infield single and scoring her soon after is Jordyn Bradley with an RBI triple. Blakely Slay hits it hard to the pitcher and after the throw Bradley comes home and it’s 2-1 in favor of the Rebels.

George County would go on to win their eleventh game of the year with a final score of 14-7. Peyton Collins recorded six strikeouts where Aryana Dixon was a perfect 5-5 at the plate.
