Saucier women wanted in Slidell arrested

A Saucier woman wanted in Slidell for aggravated assault on a police officer among other charges is in custody in D’Iberville for unrelated charges.
According to Chief Wayne Payne, 28-year-old Jessica Hiel was wanted in Slidell for aggravated assault on an officer plus aggravated flight in a vehicle and resisting arrest with violence.
Yesterday, D’Iberville police stopped Hiel on I-110 after being notified she was driving reckless. Officers say Hiel had several children riding in the car with her and she was then charged with driving under the influence second offense, child endangerment by driving under the influence, no proof of insurance, and driving with a suspended license.
Hiel is awaiting extradition from Louisiana on the charges through the Slidell Police Department.
