Voters cast their ballots in primary elections in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Voters across Jackson County made their way to the polls throughout the day, including at the Ocean Springs Civic Center.

Residents we spoke with say the voting process has been smooth so far, with short lines, and poll workers helping guide people through the process.

Many voters say participating in this primary election is an important way to make their voices heard and help shape who will represent them in Jackson at the state capitol.
