Gulfport Mayor Hugh Keating discusses downtown development

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Gulfport’s Downtown scene is going to change dramatically.

The historic Markham Hotel will open in the coming months after a long restoration process.

Work is underway on the site of the more than $100 million town center.

WXXV News 25’s Dave Elliott talked to Mayor Hugh Keating about both projects.
