Ocean Springs Fire Department Captain nominated for First Responder of the Year

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)-The Ocean Springs Fire Department shares that one of their own has been recognized as a nominee as the First Responder of the Year for Fire Service.

Captain Garrett Beasley takes home the honor, named at the inaugural First Responders Appreciation Luncheon.

Captain Beasley was nominated due to his outstanding service and strong team mentality.

He is also being recognized for his role in life-saving efforts during a call involving an infant in July 2025.
