George County Sheriff’s Office receives grant to upgrade 911 dispatch system
GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The George County Sheriff’s Office shared that Congressman Mike Ezell visited George County recently.
Sheriff Mitchell Mixon shared Ezell helped secure a grant funding allowing the county to upgrade their dispatch system.
Sheriff Mixon says the upgrade strengthens the ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
He also shares deputies and first responders now have the tools to better serve the community and protect all residents.
