Two facing charges in Thursday shooting in Gulf Park Estates

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- A man on the run since a Thursday shooting in the Gulf Park Estates community was taken into custody over the weekend, thanks to a Crime Stoppers tip.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Investigators say Christopher Landry was located on Derry Lane in Ocean Springs after that tip came in Saturday on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The other man in this case, Glen Barton, was taken into custody on Thursday.

The two are suspects in the shooting of a 47-year-old man after a fight in Gulf Park Estates. The victim was shot twice and is now recovering from his injuries.
