Prescribed burn scheduled at Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- A prescribed burn is scheduled for Thursday at the Mississippi Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services is conducting that fire. The potential burn site consists of 28 acres north of I-10 and west of Gautier-Vancleave Road.

Be aware that smoke may move through the area and equipment and personnel will be in the area.
