Woods fire now fully contained, smoke will linger

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- We have an update on a few of those wildfires that popped up in Harrison County Monday.

Harrison County Fire Rescue officials say the one off Pete Hickman Road in Saucier is now 100 percent contained.

The same goes for a fire that crews were working on in the area of Acy Ladner Road.

Despite the containment, smoke will linger across most of the county today due to these fires and depending on the wind as well.
