Wildfires pop up due to weather conditions

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Despite red flag warnings from fire officials not to burn, there have been a couple of fires that have popped up Monday in South Mississippi.

Harrison County Fire Crews spent much of the day battling a fire off Pete Hickman Road in Saucier.

No structures have been threatened as a result of this burn, but other fires have popped up in Perry County and St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana over the past 24 hours that have caused evacuations and disruptions to travel.
