Stone County Sheriff’s Office offering public safety cadet program
STONE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Stone County Sheriff’s Office is investing in the next generation of public safety leaders through a hands-on youth program designed to educate, mentor, and inspire.
Inside the Stone County Sheriff’s Office, the next generation of public safety professionals is getting to work.
The Public Safety Cadet Program is a community-based initiative aimed at educating and mentoring young men and women between the ages of 14 and 20. Its mission is building strong character, leadership, and responsibility while offering hands-on experience in law enforcement and emergency response.
Through specialized training and mentorship from experienced deputies, cadets will gain a firsthand look at the world of public safety. From learning about law enforcement operations to understanding emergency response procedures, participants will be immersed in real-world scenarios.
