Sheriff’s department investigating incident on Pascagoula River Bridge
JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Jackson County Sheriff’s Investigators are releasing new details about an incident this morning on the I-10 Pascagoula River Bridge.
Sheriff John Ledbetter tells us a suspect began to flee from deputies with the drug interdiction unit.
When they approached the eastbound I-10 bridge, the suspect started to throw objects into the water.
The chase continued into Mobile County, Alabama where the suspect was taken into custody.
Deputies spent much of the morning searching the water for those objects.
