Prescribed fire scheduled at MS Sandhill Crane Refuge

GAUTIER, Miss. (WXXV)- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is planning a prescribed burn at the Mississippi Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge.

The burn site consists of 133 acres located north of I10 and east of Highway 57 in Gautier.

The public should be aware that smoke may be in the area.
