Coast Electric highlights impact of Operation Round Up program

KILN, Miss. (WXXV)- Coast Electric is celebrating the power of small change making a big difference.

Thursday, they hosted an event highlighting the impact of its Operation Round Up program, which helps fund local charities across South Mississippi.

At Coast Electric’s Kiln headquarters, nonprofit leaders gathered to celebrate and network. Organizations like Excel by 5 Hancock County, Mississippi Gulf Coast Buddy Sports, the Mississippi Council on Economic Education, and CASA of South Mississippi were among the past grant recipients, sharing how Operation Round Up funding has supported their missions.

Those small contributions add up, creating grant funding that supports dozens of local charitable organizations each year.
