City of Ocean Springs holds annual Arbor Day Tree Giveaway
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Ocean Springs gave away trees over the weekend, continuing the tradition at the Ocean Springs Dog Park.
More than 60 trees were planted while hundreds more were given away to residents.
The city thanks the Ocean Springs High School junior citizens who came out to lend a hand.
The city also says the giveaway was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when community, stewardship, and service come together.
