Mississippi Aquarium turtle sponsorships now open

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- You can now sponsor one of the cold-stunned sea turtles the Mississippi Aquarium is currently rehabbing to help its recovery efforts.

The aquarium says rehab costs can soar to as much as $500 per turtle and these $30 sponsorships will go a long way in helping to care for the animals.

Those who sponsor a turtle will receive a certificate, a special graphic, and will be able to receive exclusive updates on the turtles in Mississippi Aquarium’s care.

Those that sponsor are also the first to know about turtle releases this year.
